Ethics Committee Approval

PUJHSR abides by the Protection of Research Participants of the ICMJE guidelines (https://www.icmje.org/recommendations/browse/roles-and-responsibilities/protection-of-research-participants.html). All submissions dealing with animal or human data must include the details of ethical committee approval in the ‘Methods’ section. The details should clearly state the name of the regulatory ethical committee, and its address along with the approval number and approved date. If required, the journal may request to submit the approval letter.

Studies involving animals will have to state the licensing guidelines based on which the current work was carried out and also the care taken about the animals under study in accordance with the ARRIVE guidelines (https://arriveguidelines.org/arrive-guidelines). For studies involving human participants, state the study and informed consent should abide Helsinki Declaration as revised in 2013 (https://www.wma.net/policies-post/wma-declaration-of-helsinki-ethical-principles-for-medical-research-involving-human-subjects/).
